The Woodward Alumni Hall of Fame Association

Monica Utley is a 1997 Woodward graduate and Hall of Fame scholarship recipient. The Hall of Fame Scholarship provided her compass, which has guided her from North Toledo to the Far East and the Middle East! It was the impetus for fulfilling her dream of teaching internationally.

 

Her WHS educators encouraged her to apply, this life-changing scholarship changed the trajectory of her life. She earned a B.S. at BGSU Cum Laude, and a M.A. at OSU. She has taught and has been a school administrator in Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, Shanghai, and Kuwait. She is now the Acting Associate VP for Student Affairs at the American International University in Kuwait.

 

Several years ago, Monica "paid it forward" by donating the amount of her scholarship to the Hall of Fame so that another student may have the same opportunity.
