Professional accomplishments

* Retired in 1992 from SSOE, Inc., Toledo architectural and engineering film. Enjoyed 40 years of

   service with SSOE, Inc., including positions as:

* Member of the Board of Directors

* Vice president administration human resources

* Director of personnel

* Director of marketing

* Director of computer department

* Chief draftsman, structural detailing

* Structural engineer

* Member of many professional engineering associations

Personal achievements

* Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, University of Michigan, 1951

* Member of the University of Michigan's 1947, 1948 and 1949 Big-Ten Champion football Teams, which were rated number one

   in the nation. Never played in the Rose Bowl because of the three-year repeating rule

* Held the individual Big-Ten Single Season Pass Interception Record for 19 years

 

High school endeavors

* President of the senior class

* Most valuable player in football as a senior

* Sports editor of the SAGA

* President of Woodward's National Honor Society and Engineering Society

* 1944 and 1945 Varsity) football team

* 1944 and 1945 city champion basketball team
